SBLA PRIVACY AND SECURITY GUARANTEE

At the SBLA we value your privacy - and are committed to protecting the confidentiality of both your company and your personal information.

You can browse our site without identifying yourself or revealing any information about you or your company. If you choose to apply for financing or membership through our site, the information you provide will be used to screen and evaluate your application, finalize the funding process, and/or provide you with updates and membership while offering   you exemplary service.

SBLA does not collect any personal data without your consent, and we only share financial information you provide us with our Association Lenders.   Initiating the application process constitutes consent for us to use the information as described in this policy. The SBLA does not use information about our users for statistical, marketing or any other purposes.

SBLA MEMBERSHIP

Any individual applying for Membership in The SBLA will be asked for basic information about themselves. When a Member applies for Financing, they will provide information concerning themselves and their company, if they operate one. All information provided in their application will then be compared to information with a credit bureau and against our various lenders' financing criteria. The decision to provide personal information is entirely yours to make.

SBLA MEMBERS NEWS LETTER

SBLS provides our members with the opportunity to receive our monthgly news letter. This e-mail based news letter provides updates to you regarding financing and other financial solutions for your business, including business wanted and for sale. You may opt out of this service at any time.

SBLA advocates protection of the privacy of all users of the sblaloan.com web sate. SBLA remains committed to ensuring that your personal and company information is safeguarded and not sold or traded to any other third party, excepting our lenders. And all our lenders also are bounfd to our privacy principle. SBLA has adopted the following privacy principles in the belief that they effectively capture our commitment to you.

  • We recognize and respect our customers' expectation of privacy.
  • We collect and use only the information necessary for legitimate business purposes as outlined above.
  • We employ security measures such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to ensure that we can safely abide by our commitment; safeguarding access to and disclosure of information.
  • We will not disclose personally identifiable information to third parties unless there is an appropriate legal or business justification; again, as outlined herein.
  • If we contract with a company to perform specific services that require us to provide them access to customer information, we require that company to maintain the confidentiality of customer information.
  • We continualy assess our business practices to ensure that customer privacy is respected.

As part of our commitment to protecting your privacy, we are always working to ensure that our procedures and systems are relevant and supply the appropriate safeguards - and we will regularly conduct audits of our systems and Privacy Policies to ensure compliance.

Information Practices

  1. Recognition of Customer's Expectation of Privacy

    We recognize and respect the privacy expectations of our customers - and are committed to taking the steps necessary to safeguard the information entrusted to us. Procedures are in place that are designed to prevent misuse of private information.

  2. Collection and Use of Customer Information

    We collect, retain, and use information only where we reasonably believe that it will help to complete the loan application process, to provide individually tailored services, and to provide other opportunities you may request or are provided in our Members Only Package.

    Any information collected is used to administer business transactions, to provide you with status updates, to comply with laws and regulations, to help us design or improve our services, and to understand your needs so that we can provide you with quailty service.

    We do never collect personal data without your consent, and we only share the personally identifiable financial information you provide us with the Member Lenders we select. Information collection starts at the point of the application process, but only when YOU provide said information.  By initiating the application process, you consent to our collection and use of the information you provide for the reasons herein.

    After your financing application is processed, we will periodically send you e-mail updates about finalizing the funding process and about new products and services. You can choose not to receive additional e-mails by choosing to opt-out, using the question posed at the beginning of the application process. If you choose to receive updates, but change your mind at a later date, you can opt out at any time by sending e-mail with your company name, address and e-mail address to sbla_privacy@sblaloan.com.

  3. Limiting Employee Access of Information

    To protect the confidentiality and privacy of credit information about individuals and small businesses, we limit access to your files to only trained employees whoise job would be to evaluate said information.

  4. Protection of Information

    We provide the best security technology available. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Technology provides 128 bit encryption of your information, and your information cannot be accessed during transmission to our servers. Our 128 bit SSL authentication technology confirms the identity of both the computer sending and the computer receiving your application information; a safeguard against unauthorized people and companies accessing your information. SBLA also provides the best technical security measures available to prevent unauthorized access to data stored on our secure servers.

  5. Restrictions on the Disclosure of Account Information

    State and federal agencies may require all lenders to provide certain information regarding the number of financing applications submitted to us. This information, when disclosed, is in aggregate form and does not contain any of your personally identifiable information. State and federal examiners may periodically audit consumer files. These audits ensure that we are complying with the regulations in place to protect consumers.

  6. SBLA Associate Lenders  and You

    Accepting your application for a loan or other financial service does not offer a guarantee you will be successful. If we cannot find a lender or an offer that meets your needs, or if you are approved and do not choose an offer, or if you withdraw instead of choosing an offer, your information will not be forwarded to any lender. To comply with federal law, we save your information in our system. We may use this information to respond to your questions or contact you if there is a problem.

    We will not reveal personally identifiable information to any third party unless we have been authorized by you, have previously informed you in disclosures or agreements that we plan to do so, or are required by law to do so.
